WHAT’S HAPPENING TO OUR UPCOMING EVENTS, IMPORTANT INFORMATION UPDATED 23RD MARCH:

THE MELBOURNE INDIE FILM FESTIVAL EVENTS SCHEDULED FOR THE 23RD AND 24TH OF MARCH GOT POSTPONED.

Following new advice from the government regarding Coronavirus, in which all events venues had to shutdown, we continue to follow all guidelines, and the events are now postponed.

Synopsis: A director of a failing theatre company finds himself in a quandary after he uncovers a sinister plot.

Ghost in the Gun – United States

Cast: Tim Russ, Darren Bridgett, Ross Turner, Haley Camille, Christopher Weddle, Jayme Catalano, Logan Wildey, Bruce Duncan, Tony Jonick, Gregory Young

Synopsis: A man left for dead encounters a possessed gun and transforms into a gunslinger bent on avenging his wife’s murder, but unbeknownst to him the gun has a vendetta of its own. “This fantastic HOLLYWOOD LEVEL short western will take you on a supernatural journey of revenge, that will glue you to your seat! Imagine Black Mirror meets The Twilight Zone on the set of West World! It could easily be added to The Twilight Zone as a modern-day episode.

Synopsis: “Urban Audio Spectrum” is an audio visualization through manipulation and animation of objects/elements in video footage. All scenes have been shot in the city of Berlin, Germany.

Tides – Zoe Kavanagh – Ireland

Cast: Johnny Ward, Chloe Ni Dhuada

Synopsis: Two strangers collide and converse about things that connect them – life, death, and air hockey. A mourning woman meets a would-be thief, and their unusual encounter helps pull her back from the edge. ‘Tides’ deals with grief and loss with the kind of dark humour reserved for those bleakest moments, and attempts to shed some light on certain issues not talked about often enough.

In this short documentary, Tanya talks about her emotional journey with music and the gift of creativity she wants to share with her audience. Shown through a series of performances, expressing her fantastic skills of Jazz, Improvisation, and Looping, Tanya will have you up and dancing instantly. Her energy will inspire you!
